Romania Investigates Drone Sighting Near Military Base

Romania's Defence Ministry has launched an investigation into a drone sighting near a military base in the country, according to a recent statement. While the ministry did not specify the origin of the drone, it has previously blamed Russia for similar incidents, raising concerns about the potential for foreign interference in the region's airspace. The incident is currently under investigation, with the ministry working to determine the source and intentions behind the drone's presence near the military base. The Romanian government has been cautious about such incidents, given the geopolitical tensions in the region, and the investigation is expected to shed more light on the circumstances surrounding the drone sighting. As the situation develops, the ministry is likely to provide updates on the progress of the investigation and any measures being taken to ensure the security of Romania's airspace.
